English speaking clubs are a place for you to use your spoken English. It's the main purpose of a speaking club. Simple, right? Basically a group of people meet in one place or online and have a chat in English. There are usually two types of speaking club and they are, one, the free chat without any structure, you go-with-the-flow and whatever comes up, you talk about that. This type of speaking club can have a host, but it usually doesn't and people are often split into smaller groups. These types of speaking clubs usually are in-person rather than online. The other type of speaking club is a structured one that has been planned before it starts and has a host. This speaking club will have a topic, for example fashion, and all questions asked by the host will be in some way connected to this topic. Your host may ask you if you prefer Nike or Adidas clothing and from this you will give your opinion, experiences, and other thoughts. Someone or the host will probably pick up on something you say and ask you follow up questions to allow you to expand on your answers.
