English is the practical language of those relationships.
That gives Armenian professionals a distinctive profile. Technical English is often excellent, because it has been read and written daily for years. Conversational English lags, because the written channel does most of the work and calls tend to be short and functional.
Yerevan holds most of the sector, but the online format means a company with engineers in Gyumri or Vanadzor puts them in the same group without anyone travelling. Clubs run in groups of up to six for sixty minutes on a structured topic.

Armenian students sit unified state examinations and come through a school system with real strengths in mathematics and the sciences. English is taken seriously, and the written foundation is generally sound.
What is missing is the same thing as everywhere: airtime. Thirty students in a lesson cannot each speak for long. Six students in an hour can, and because the club is not assessed the students who avoid speaking in class are the ones whose confidence shifts most noticeably.
For university students and young professionals aiming at international employers or study abroad, the deciding factor is almost never reading comprehension — it is whether they can explain their own work convincingly, out loud, to someone they have just met.

Armenia stays on UTC+4 throughout the year, putting it four hours ahead of the UK in winter and three in summer. A 19:00 club in Yerevan is 15:00 or 16:00 for the host — a comfortable slot on both sides.

Our engineers have excellent written English. Is this still worth doing?
That is the most common Armenian profile and it is a good fit. Strong written English means the vocabulary and structure are already in place; what they need is repetition at speaking speed, which is exactly what an hour of structured discussion provides.
Can we include colleagues based abroad?
Yes. Groups are defined by level and schedule rather than location, and mixed groups spanning Yerevan and the diaspora work well — often better, because English stops being optional.
Do you work with schools in the regions?
Yes. Everything runs online, so a school in Gyumri or Vanadzor is on the same footing as one in Yerevan.
How big is a group?
Six people maximum. Larger groups look better value until you divide the hour by the number of people in it — at ten or twelve, the quieter half stops speaking altogether.
What happens if someone misses a week?
Nothing. Each club is self-contained, there is no homework and nothing to catch up on, so an absence does not leave anyone behind.
